Destruction of Mangroves through coastal reclamation without acquiring Hydrographic study data damages the marine aquatic habitat of shrimps and endangered marine species drastically reducing fish stocks sometimes being the sole source of livelihood of  fishing communities. One of the basic elements for a thriving planet is biodiversity.  The term biodiversity connotes that diverse forests with abundance of foliage, trees, grasses, shrubs, fungi, moss and wildlife are essential to sustain vibrant ecosystems and generate seed clouds  through the release of bioaerosols (bacteria, spores and pollen). Such consistent release of bioaerosols establishes a consistent pattern of rainfall (controlled bioprecipitation) and prevents the extreme flood-drought-fire cycles that come from monoculture ecosystems. A combination of replanting trees, grasses, shrubs, fungi, lichen, moss and even orchids  creates a diverse ecosystem that can regulate water cycles, improve soil health and protect against extreme weather.
