As reported in the South China Post US prosecutors moved for dismissal of bank fraud charges against Meng Wanzhou CFO of China’s Huawei Technologies whose 2018 arrest strained relations between the US and China. Meng struck a deal with the prosecutors for the charges against her to be dismissed. She was her arrested in Canada on a US warrant. Huawei, a telecommunications equipment maker the US views as a national security threat, is still charged in the case, which is pending in a US Court. Apparently the strained relations between China and USA are mellowing
