Tourism dwindles
Climate change is causing the fabled canals of Venice a global beeline for tourist to dry up. The reasons are attributed to consistent low or ebb tides, siltation in the canal network , scarcer alpine snow drastically lowering water levels in reservoirs such as Lake Garda which are the watersheds of the Alps and persistent drought like weather patterns.
