An alluring image reflective of symmetry and harmony between the female body and nature has ignited debate in the highly conservative desert kingdom of Oman. Nusaiba Al Maskari learned the art of balancing using a pole from a Russian pole dancer . The most vivid depiction of symmetry is cast with her posing with the Hajar Mountain peaks of Muscat in the background.

Nusaiba Al Maskari is the first female pole fitness performer  in Oman and advocates pole dancing or pole performance as she calls it in this ultra orthodox kingdom as a unique fitness regime .She treads a delicate balance between working from home, tutoring her son and delivering online lessons in pole dancing.
